BCC welcomes you to our Family Center where the environment is warm, friendly and welcoming for families and their children. It’s located on the 4th floor at BCC – 645 Penn Street in Reading.
As a parent, you want what is best for your son or daughter, but it is not always easy to know what type of support he or she needs. BCC is a place to turn when children and adolescent problems seem overwhelming and too difficult to handle alone.
Our team of compassionate professionals includes licensed counselors, nurses and a child and adolescent psychiatrist. We will provide your daughter, son and family with individually tailored services designed to overcome a wide range of emotional, behavioral or relationship problems - from mild to severe.

Evidence-based models of care include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Trauma focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
All BCC staff have training in Trauma Informed Care. Children, adolescents and their families have access to board certified child and adolescent psychiatrists as well on- site pharmacy services.*** Parents are included and supported throughout the process.
There is close care coordination with other providers and systems including: education, criminal justice, foster care, child welfare, primary care facilities and hospitals
