Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Addiction
BCC provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with an opioid use disorder or an alcohol use disorder.
Our physician is specialized in MAT and prescribes and monitors both Suboxone (Buprenorphine) and Vivitrol (Naltrexone). MAT is an evidenced-based, scientifically proven strategy that reduces substance use, relapse, and overdose.
Clients receiving MAT also receive specific counseling and other supportive therapy which play key roles in moving from a life riddled in addiction into one of recovery and hope.
